Greetings. The purpose of this thread is to document and create a best practice guide on how to host vBulletin 4.0 on a Windows 2008 server. It's an offshoot of the thread here, that was asking about whether to host on a Unix or Windows environment: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...-Linux-Hosting The intent isn't to get into a big debate, please leave that discussion on another thread. It's to get into some details on how to make the most out of your vBulletin 4.0 installation on Windows 2008, if that's the route you choose to go. I am just getting into this myself and am no expert, so I am hoping that deuterium and others can expand on this discussion.
