I currently am running SMF and for obvious reasons want to upgrade to the latest version of VB software. My question is this. After i purchase the VB software, is it possible for me to just upload it to my current CPanel, which is hosted by TMD, and do the transfer of my forum from SMF to VB myself,???


I obviously dont want to lose my entire forum in the process as i have lots of member posts, and members to consider. I just simply want to install the VB software, load a backup of my forum onto it and then trash the SMF stuff.
