The activists said the woman died in the northern village of Abu Saiba, about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) west of Manama, on Tuesday. The latest victim of the government’s violent crackdown on demonstrations was killed one day after Bahraini activists said a 45-day-old infant died on Monday due to inhaling tear gas fired by Saudi-backed regime forces during a demonstration in a residential area in Manama. Bahraini demonstrators hold King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa responsible for the death of protesters during the popular uprising in the country that began in February 2011.
