I've been running into a bunch of 500 errors and there is always one culprit: ($hook = vBulletinHook::fetch_hook('newpost_complete')) ? eval($hook) : false; I get a completey blank page with a 500 error when I create a new thread (the thread gets created, but it goes to a blank internal server error page). I managed to output some errors: Warning: require_once(twitter.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/includes/functions_newpost.php(658) : eval()'d code on line 24 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'twitter.php' (include_path='.:') in /u/r/redtagvacations/www.redtag.ca/forum/includes/functions_newpost.php(658) : eval()'d code on line 24 turns out this line 658 (includes/functions_newpost.php) is this line: ($hook = vBulletinHook::fetch_hook('newpost_complete')) ? eval($hook) : false; If I comment it out it works fine. The thread gets posted and it redirects properly. Also, on the forum.php page, there is a 500 error (firebug returns it), but the page loads fine. When I output the errors I get this: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '>' in /u/r/redtagvacations/www.redtag.ca/forum/forum.php(654) : eval()'d code on line 6 The culprit being line 654 which is: ($hook = vBulletinHook::fetch_hook('forumhome_complete')) ? eval($hook) : false; Again, once I comment it out the page loads fine with no reported errors or warnings. The only things installed with my VB are the Vbulletin Blog (currently disabled), Vbulletin CMS and the everywhere sidebar. Even with the everywhere sidebar disabled the issue is still there. I'm running the latest version of VB (I've even re-uploaded all of the files several times). I'm also using the latest copy of vbulletin on another site on the same server and it doesn't have this issue. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
