Here is my problem (just upgraded to 4.0.3, but problem began happening in 3.8.4):
User is not logged in, but is browsing a thread
User decides they want to reply to the thread, so clicks the "
Page saying "You don't have permission to do that, please log in" comes up
User logs in
Screen saying "thank you for logging in, you will be redirected to the page you were viewing momentarily"
Page saying "You don't have permission to do that, please log in" comes up
Endless loop of steps 3-6 unless user refreshes, in which case the user can then post their reply
I assume this has something to do with cookies, but I've tried various solutions and can't get it right. I don't know what to do at this point except just put a note on the "You don't have permission, log in" page saying "if you think you ARE logged in, click refresh on your browser," which isn't exactly very user friendly. Can anyone help me out?
