Hi all Short version: I'm getting the following error whenever I'm trying to access my vBulletin board on my new server. Quote: Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /var/www/includes/class_core.php on line 312 Long Version: I just finished getting a VPS up and running and I'm having troubles trying to get vBulletin to work. After hours of searching and googling, I am finally making a post :/ My VPS: Debian Lenny (5.0.4), MySQL 5.0.51a, PHP 5.2.6, and vBulletin 4.0.3 I've verified that www/includes/config.php file has the correct credentials in it, but still it doesn't work. MySQL server is up and running, and I've logged into the user to make sure he has access to the relevant table and db. I've also dumped the old DB (from the shared webserver) into the new server (this VPS that is currently having problems) Can anybody think of what may be causing this? Much appreciated. UPDATED: It appears that I didn't have php5-mysql installed. I downloaded it, restarted Apache, and everything was fine. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
