| I have been running my vBulletin forum since 2006 and it has generally been very stable. After recently upgrading to 3.8 (currently 3.8.3), two problems appeared that I have been unable to solve. 1. Switch Editor Mode does not work. When creating or editing my posts, I want to be able to change between WYSISYG and normal mode by simply clicking on the Switch Editor Mode button. Unfortunately, that button will not react and the mode remains in WYSIWYG mode. I have tested this on two different computers. I have tried disabling the Plugin/Hook System, and all the products so that only standard vB code is used, but there is simply no reaction when I click on the button. In IE7/IE8 it sometimes says "Error on Page." in the bottom left corner. The same button works perfectly on this forum (tried it when typing this message) and I also tried installing a fresh test forum on my server "/vbtest" with a separate database and it works there, too. 2. Popup of thumbname image does not work. When I view a post with a thumbnail image on my forum, the thumbnail displays fine, but when I click on it, the screen goes dark but no image is displayed - the screen just stays dark and will not return to normal by clicking on it. Refreshing the page (F5) returns to the normal page display. Tested with Hookup system disabled and on two different computers. On the test forum on the same server and same computers, it works properly displaying the image on top of the dark screen. Apart from these two problems, my forum appears to be working normally. I have a few templates that have been customised, but nothing relating to the switch mode of image display. I have compared all the vBulletin Options between my standard and test forum and could not find any relevant differences. Any ideas on how to fix this? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__  |
