T175B: Networked living: Exploring Information and Communication technologies
Question One

Set up a spreadsheet that represents the following table by typing the numbers in columns A, B and C, then answer the following questions.

a) Write a suitable equation for cell B6.
b) Write a suitable equation for cell C6.
c) Create a chart taking into account the following chart options. (Paste the chart in the TMA file taking into consideration that all the following points are clear in the pasted version.)

1) A column chart
2) The x-axis represents column A.
3) Series represents columns B and C.
4) Write a chart title.
5) Write a title for the x-axis.
6) Write a title for the y-axis.
7) Legend position in left.
8) Check the "logarithmic scale".
9) All series should be above the x-axis.

Question Two
Watch the introduction and the six sections of the demonstration about computers and animation provided in the T175 Guide. Using no more than 500 words write, with your own words, linear notes representing the concepts discussed in the demonstration. (Hint: do not use any summaries provided by your tutors)
Question Three
Part 1 of Block 4 discussed telehealth for providing clinical health care at a distant. Tele-audiology is a category of ehealth field.
Search the web and answer the following.

a. Define tele-audiology.
b. List equipment and systems needed for tele-audiology.
c. List two situations in which tele-audiology will be most useful.
d. List only two URLs of the web pages you used.

Question Four
Assume that a telesurgery total latency is 180 ms and full 80 ms of the latency was taken up by the video coding and decoding, the round trip from location X to location Y is 9000 km and that the telesurgery signals propagate through optical fibers at 2x108 m/s.
Work out the proportion of the quoted latency (total round-trip delay) that was taken up by memory buffering. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
