Forum post-upgrade -- cannot view postings in a thread

I've upgraded and migrated to a new server simultaneously.

When a member looks at the forum, they can see the forums & threads properly, and can see that there are posts in the threads. However, when they attempt to look at a particular thread (see the details in a post), we get a 500 server error.

I have switched over to the default vb4 style, in the theory that some of the old styles didn't migrate properly. I still ahve the same problem.

Any suggestions on where I should be looking / what I've managed to break? (e.g. is there a style cache that needs to be rebuilt, or ??? ) __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
