CMS Promoting threads to the CMS + other CMS suggestions

Post promotion seems to work good but i think that it should exist an option in the forumdisplay administration options to promote many threads with their posts being transfered as comments. When promoting many threads it would be good to have an option to set as article date and time the time and date of the first post of each thread. In addition the time and date of each post should be transfered. I think that this feature is critical as many of us would like to transfer all our articles in threads to the CMS preserving every detail. This is very useful to the users that have installed the Geek Article and Review System which operates on common threads. Users with GARS installed (or similar solutions) cannot migrate to vB4 easily as they have to do all the dirty job themselves or at best write a small script.

Also an option to use the thread promoted as the thread for comments is crucial. This is accomplished through a mod at vbulletin.org but i think that it should be a feature of the CMS since the first release.

Something else i'd like to suggest is redirecting the url of the thread of each article to the specific article in the CMS. This could be done based on permissions (so admins can see the actual thread) or at least it could be done in What's New or any other common places. Also this would apply to promoted threads which have the promoted thread as the thread for comments.
