We have a client that needs a forum where users cannot view all the categories. Some categories will be free and accessible to all.

Some categories will require a payment before they can be accessed - this is because these special categories will be about courses that users need to be paid-up members.

Question - can vBulletin be set up to only allow access to the free categories unless pre-approved by a moderator? I'm not expecting vBulletin to handle the payment.

So, a user can access the free categories as normal, but cannot access (or possibly even see) the costed ones. They will pay for access via a CMS/Paypal setup and will then will be given a link or other means to access the vBulletin paid-for categories.

In other words, the user will not be allowed access until approved. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
