Suite another failed install.. (SUITE)

I tried to follow the upgrade but it didnt work... I think because the previous forum was in a directory and now with suite it isnt.

Anyways I took a myPHPadmin backup of the 3.8.4 (15mb) mySQL.

I installed vB 4 and create a new db (so I have 2 databases now), however I can not get my old database to import.

Can i import this size file through myPHPadmin? if so will there be any problems with the versions conflicting as table will have changed?

I tried editing the config.php to pick up the other database but because of the folder issue I think this is causing an error.

Can someone with a greater understanding and patience please help me out?? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
