Pictures conditional

Having switched from photopost to the built in albums system, I'd like a way to add a link in the postbit to a user's album list if they actually have pictures uploaded.

Problem is, I can't figure out what conditional this would be... the only thing I can find is in the MEMBERINFO template:

Which doesn't work in the postbit. I also went looking for a place where vb stored the total number of photos uploaded but that doesn't seem to exist either!

So, is there a conditional, usable in the postbit, that will detect if there's a public album with pictures in it? I'd even settle for detecting just a public album like the profile page mini album block does. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
