I think it is necessary to add in pagination in the Section Edit Pages. (On the live display- when you click on the "edit" pencil).
While attempting to edit my Frontpage/homepage section to choose articles to display I received a Memory Allocation error. (btw, My php_ini is set at 256M !)
Currently I have several Thousand articles in the database, each are set to display in certain sections. However, the box on the bottom of the homepage/Frontpage is set to display content from Sub-Sections- which pulls ALL of the information at once 3,000+ entries, crashing the server memory.
If vb were to include basic pagination at the bottom of the Edit Section pages (like it is currently set if you go to AdminCP> CMS> Conent Manager> scroll to bottom- content per page = 5,10,15,20, etc )
This would prevent numerous memory allocation errors (many, many in the vb4 threads!) and also reduce loading times, etc.
Hopefully I've explained this issue well enough. It's not quite a bug, perhaps just an overlooked setting.
