CMS Search Fails for Articles older than 6 months.

I am brand new at this, so it may have nothing to do with the specific release. However, any Search that I do either from the search textbox in the Navbar or from Advanced Search fails to find anything in articles older than 6 months. It does not make any difference if in the Advanced search I selected One Year old or newer.

I have rebuilt the search indexes from the admincp with no change in results.

The words that I am searching on are of length 4 letters or longer, and they are not one of the MySQL stop words. The MySQL server is using the default setting for ft_min_word_len = 4.

Is there a configuration setting somewhere that I am missing. We, once we are up and running, will be a small site and I would to have the search index cover all of our content. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
