Suite My 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 Suite update

I read a lot of horror stories on here from peoples updates and a lot of people getting help but not coming back to say what fixed their issues.

With much hesitation I went ahead and updated yesterday and it went seamless from a vb stand point, any corrections I made after were due to my own errors.

This is what I did: Read the whole thing One certain style has to be removed completely (way too many issues)
Backed up everything. TWICE (can never have too many copies of a good back up lol).

Turned my forums off.

Disabled ALL products Admin>Plug ins and Products>Manage Products>set all to disable one at a time, yes I disabled the CMS and blog also.

Cross fingers

Edit Config

upload all files into respective folders on host

Preformed the upgrade.

Delete install files

Reverted any templates that needed to be reverted or issues needed addressing (If you have the Mobile Style for vb 4 by Dartho) I suggest you remove it and wait for a new one to come out).

Repair and optimize all tables

Updated and rebuilt everything in Admin>Maintenance>Update counters.

Short prayer.

Enable all plug ins again.

Go to CMS and hope it is there.

Go to bottom of cms and check Display Content from Sub-Sections?

Go to ACP> vBulletin CMS>Permissions>Verify and set all permissions for each section

Turn site back on

Having done all of this I still have a few small style items i need to take care of because apparently some of the settings NOW WORK! lol
