Forum Quick Reply Edit Box Size

If I'm using a large monitor (24") amd then make the screen half size my quick reply box breaks the boundries of the forum...........The edit box stays at its original size and doesnt shrink with the rest of the page.
Same applies for PM's and Visitor messages.

It does the same in reverse too......If I start the screen out small and the maximize it, the edit box stays at its small original size.

It doesn't happen here or on my test forum, both test and live forums appear to be indentical installations.....It happens in IE8 but not Chrome

Ive reverted templates, disabled the two mods I have installed and I'm buggered if I can figure out how to fix it.

Any clues as to where I should be looking? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
