CMS Problems displaying CMS Front Page in IE 6 and IE 7?

I have my website set to a pre-defined width of 1000px.

When viewing my website via FireFox 3.0 & 3.5, or IE 8.0 I see my website perfectly. But, when viewing my website via IE 6.0 or IE 7.0, my website gets completely misaligned.

The sections getting wacked out are:
sub-link menu

left menu

right menu

middle content gets shifted downward, below those menus.

hovers dont work on menus

tab links shift left

buttons (post article, post blog) shift right.

Its really wacky and weird!

Does anyone know what the heck is wrong? I mean there is plenty of space for the content to display properly, but its still all wacky and unstable. I have also tried viewing the site with higher resolutions or smaller text size etc. and the problem still looks the same. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
