| This has bugged me for years and years. There should be a way to restrict 'new post/thread/whatever' results to user-configurable areas. This was an important/mandatory feature of my BBS over 20 years ago (from TAG* to BBS-PC* to Xenolink) and was standard across the board (ha!) for good BBSes in general. Filter* man* filter. Who really wants to see the test posts show up on their daily new-scan? Users should have the ability to define what they see during new-scans. This is a long-standing issue I've had with all forum software out there* but with the proliferation of irrelevant test posts here recently it's reminded me how much vB lacks in this area. edit: oh for the love of god why did you go back to Verdana. Everything looks so Fisher-Price now. Augh. It would have looked awful back in the Amiga days* even. Please* kill it. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__  |
