VB Scripting Issue?

Not sure where else to put this question* so here goes.

I only use VB on several boards. I don't own it* host it or administer it.

This problem occurs on different boards using different PCs and browsers (Opera & SeaMonkey). For a while* everything works as it should* but eventually* I am unable to use certain VB features.

In the Quick Reply box* the post attribute buttons don't work. Hovering over them does not activate them. Clicking on them does nothing. I have to manually add the BBCode for Bold* Italic* Underline* Color* Quote* etc.

On some boards the arrow beside the options in the title bar don't appear* so there is no drop down option field beside the Forum Junp for example. Clicking on Forum Jump takes me to the main board screen.

In the Post Reply screen or Go Advanced screen* the post attribute buttons don't work* and the Upload Attachments field is inactive; no option to select or upload appears.

It has to be some kind of scripting issue. Something is being blocked or disabled* but I don't know what to look for. I run AVG Free and a couple of other security programs* but disabling those makes no difference. I have the updated Java as far as I know.

Whatever is causing this makes it hard for me to use VB boards. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
