My forum has been working fine, as of last night I was on it, and the last post is showing at 16:59 today (so a little over 3 hours ago by my clock).
I was out this morning, returned home and the forum isn't working. Front page was (vBadvanced) which made me assume it wasn't a database issue as they share the same one. But every attempt to access a thread, a forum section or the forum index resulted in an Internal Server Error
So naturally, I contacted the guy that looks after my server box. I'm on a dedicated server. Nothing had been done to the box. Nothing touched, nothing changed.
I logged into filezilla to check if everything was ok there, and there were THOUSANDS of core.xxxx files (where xxxx = a number). A google search told me these are generated when there's errors with the forum. My server box was FULL with these files.
I've since deleted them all and I can view my forum index. Unfortunately, any attempt to view a forum section or a thread is giving me a "page not found" error.
My database is in fact, I've re-uploaded all the files to be sure. What else can I check?
