When I am editing an existing post and it's attached images in-line I sometimes fiddle around with the Image Settings Editor (double-clicking the image) to chose the Thumbnail, Medium, Large, or Full Size options.
However, when I choose any of these options... say... Large, hit OK in the Image Settings Editor, then hit my browser's back button and choose to "Leave Page" from my edits, the post will then have my image in the Large format. I never hit "Save Changes" to approve my edits in the post. It shouldn't be doing this.
So here are my steps:
Create a post/thread with images attached in-line.
Go back and edit that completed post.
Double-click on the thumbnail image seen in-line and choose a different Size option than you already had.
Hit 'OK' in the Image Settings Editor.
Do NOT hit 'Save Changes' to save your edits
Hit your browser Back button and choose 'Leave Page' to not save your edits. (This window which ignores any changes you've made in your current page session)
Note that the image in your post reflects the size changes you gave it.
It seems changes through the Image Settings Editor is ignored when editing a post. I would expect to see my changes only if I chose "Save Changes" after I am done editing. This can't be normal?
