| Ok, I've run UBB Threads for 12 years and would get the occasional spammer register (I could always tell by how the filled in the registration form with gibberish). Usually the IP would trace to some place like China.
But I have only been live with my VB 4.2 site for a couple days and almost immediately I started getting dozens of phony members signing up, many from China, Russia, etc. It;s unreal - they just keep coming and I keep putting their IP ranges in my ban settings. Question - what is it about VB that is causing me to have more of these spam accounts in two days than I had in 12 years with UBBT? Any solutions? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__  |
