High activation (code) failure rate
 

We have been noticing lately that there has been an increase of users who are unable to activate their accounts with the email activation, receiving the standard error message.

If all else fails, email the administrator, making sure that you include your registered email address and username.
Generating another activation email USUALLY fixes it and they can activate from it.

We're wonder if its something vB related or are users just getting dumber and not properly following the link (or using the manual method) correctly?

How long does the code/link stay valid for?

Anything we can look at to make sure all is well in vB?
