This is absolutely a necessity

We have had a very active blog section on our forums and I purchased and moved them to vblog. Now the only way someone sees that a new blog has been posted is in the postbit of a user. It's fairly useless and blogging is now down at least 50%...at least. Again, we had very active blogs in our weblog forum until we made the vblog switch.


For the social groups, I found a mod that created a post in the forum of the admin's choice by the user who created a new social group. Anytime a new group is created a post shows up by the creator that says "x created y group. Please visit it and join!"

I really, really would like to have something like this set up that places a generic post in the admins forum of choice (for us our old weblog forum) that says something like "x just posted a new blog entry in their blog Y. Please visit it here..." with clickable link.

Since this is possible for the social groups it should be possible for vblog. The creator of that mod doesn't have blogs and therefore has no interest.

Is there ANYONE who can help me with this? RSS feeds don't work and I think it is because the users have their blogs set to private?
