New memeber - just paid

Hi All,

I'm so excited, I have just paid for the forum.

I have several rookie questions and I hope you bare with me:

I have a phpbb2 forum that I would like to convert to vBulletin. But first I would like to test everything on a different URL than the one I bought the forum for. Once everything is running smoothly with no issues I will delete it and install the forum again on the ultimate domain. Is that doble? because it asks me about the URL before downloading the software.


The other question, is there a chance that my forum won't be converted properly? meaning I lose some posts, members, threads...etc?
