Subject: The Urgency of Sending a UN Facts Finding and Investigation Committee to Bahrain

We would like to welcome you in Bahrain, and we hope that your mission to have a close look at the situation in Bahrain and promote a better human rights environment will be accomplished smoothly.

The human rights issue in Bahrain is not disconnected from the political conflict caused by the Bahraini regime refusal to submit to the legitimate demands of the Bahraini people. Without addressing the Bahraini people demands in self determination, freedom, and justice, the international community will continue to see dire human rights violations and crimes against humanity committed by Al-Khalifa illegitimate regime.

Few weeks ago, the so called the Royal Independent Committee for Facts Finding and Investigation has finished from documenting thousands of human rights violations and crimes committed by the Bahraini regime, and, even though, the King himself appointed the committee, the regime still refuses to follow and apply the committee’s recommendations.

We are renewing our call to the United Nation to send a UN facts finding and investigation committee to Bahrain to study the human rights situation in Bahrain and issue enforceable recommendations. We believe that the committee, appointed by the King, and led by Mr. Basyouni, ignored too many of the crimes and violations committed by the security forces, especially the ones committed by mercenaries in the Saudi and Bahraini armies. Moreover, the committee failed to name the top individuals in the chain of commands who issued orders to kill, demolish mosques, and crack on peaceful protestors. We believe that the only task that King Hamad' committee did was rescuing the regime’s top figures from the criminal and political responsibilities for the crimes committed since the revolution started in the 14th of last February.


Dear Honored Members of the UN Human Rights Special Delegation to Bahrain,

Without a real political solution that fulfill the Bahraini people inspiration and demands, the Bahraini people will continue to be subjected to this brutal regime' actions, and the international community will not achieve its goal to protect the sacred human rights of the Bahraini people.
