Forum Default Guest Message Notice NOT Dismissible?

Hi there,

I am setting up a notice with the "Notices Manager" to be shown to guests to encourage them to register for my forums.

I set the notice to be dismissible... but I am viewing my forums as a guest and I see no way to dismiss the message. I can see this becoming annoying for someone who does not wish to register.

So the notice is ticked "Yes" for being dismissible, but I can't dimiss it (or just don't know how to).

EDIT: To clarify further, I guess I have the message as being set on "Persistent" too. I want the notice to show until the user dismisses it, if that is possible. If I uncheck persistent, it looks like the message goes away after 1 view which I don't want. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
