How to check is there any broken file in my forum installation?

I'm searching for answer, but I cant find it.
Before some time I've transfer my domain and all stuff to new server. When I compare dirs with FileZilla I can see that some (on server, old beckup - transfer data) .php files is different size.
Is there any included self checking engine, or ability to reinstall forum without losing data, links, anything?

I have two more questions if it's not problem to ask in same thread.

I've imported Serbian language to my forum long time ago. It's not fine translate, but it was better than doing it all manual. Problem is that some phrases in default language file is changed too. Now it's all mixed
Is there ability to remove installed language and repair default (with some script or something)?

And last question is about some strange tables that appear in my database. I have more than 20 tables with name: vb_taggregate_temp_xxxxxxxxxx, where this 10 x is different numbers. What data is in this tables, is it secure to remove this tables?

PS
I've read about installing second copy of forum for testing purpose in my_forum_url/testvb. May I install my testing copy in localhost on my desktop?
