CMS Quick CMS question about permissions

Hello. I purchased the VB4 suite after emailing admin waaay back before 4.0 became public based on the the answer I received as to if it was possible to have the CMS be public accessible while the forum could remain private. The answer was yes. After upgrading my forum to 4.0 I found that it was, in fact, not possible to have a public CMS and a private forum.

I'm wondering if there's been any change in this. I currently have a public Google blog that I essentially would like the CMS to take over. Also, it would make my work on the blog less cumbersome because I essentially need to type the information in twice -- once in the forum and once on the blog. It would be so nice just to be able to promote forum posts to CMS (blog). __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
