Forum Please help if you can.

I am in need of someone walking me through two changes to my website, I am a rookie. I bought the the newest vbulletin software and started a forum about a month ago. I know little to nothing about this.

1. I want to change the forum icons(word balloons), I already have the new forum icons saved to my computer, I just need someone to walk me through the steps of replacing them.

2. I need to change one of my backgrounds. When I click on 'my profile', visitor messages come up with a nice white background that is very readable, but when I click 'about me' or 'friends' I get a blue background that is very hard on the eyes. I would like those two areas to have a background like the 'visitor messages' page does.
