Forum Icons

Hi there.

I was wondering if someone would be willing to explain to me how I can change the forum icons on my forum.


I'm pretty sure they are called forum icons. Right now they are envelopes on the side of each forum/thread.

I have a Dallas Cowboys Message board and I'm wanting to install two stars, one light, one dark, that way you can tell when there is a new post, or if there hasn't been a new post.
