Third party purchase

My question is simple.

A company that I do some work for will be purchasing a vB license. However, I will be the one managing the forum. My question is this. Who will have access to the support areas here at vB? Is it possible for the purchasing party to give access to support to the one who will actually be running the site? Or is it necessary for the one who would handle the forum to purchase the license in order to be able to access the support areas.
