Forum Having issues applying styles, tried a few different ones

I follow the instructions for applying styles, which is usually, copying a folder to the images directory then uploading the xml file.

However, each time, I do it right, I copy the folder and then I upload the XML file, it completes, but at the end, I noticed it says the styles have "merged", even though before uploading, "merge into style" is set to (Create New Style)

Has this done any damage to my default style for vB4?

Also, after it completes, I go to the style settings and go to set the new style as default, and it doesn't even show up in the list!


So then, I go to the style manager, I add a new style..then, when I go to re-upload the XML file, I choose the newly created style for "merge into style".

After that, it blanks my entire site upon refreshing!!!!

Then, I have to re upload the XML file and use (Create new style) for "merge into style" in order for everything to show up again on my site.

REALLY aggravating and this has happened with a few different styles I have tried to apply.
