I've been searching both .com and .org, and the template stuff seems really complicated for what I really want to do, which is just tell a CMS Article/Page that for it's content run "google_map.php" or something similar. I don't want to hook into the system for every page or anything fancy, just make the output of that one page something that I've written. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard.
The particular example that I have in mind is this (http://www.velocityxl.com/aprs/aprs.php) google map code (which I will dress up visually a bit), but I have other uses, like a database look up to non-vb database. Again, I don't want it to hook vb at all, or us vb variables, just make that output of that page my content. Do I really have to create a style, edit a template, and then figure out a way to have just that page show the content?? Thanks for any advice. Brett www.velocityxl.com __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
