Advanced Search: Multiple content types.

Could someone point out to me how these search results are arranged?
I did a search for VAT* and this is how it comes up. Really VB?

Search Block Upper Right hand Side
Actually this is Very Very interesting. When I use the search block in the upper right hand side I get results in Chronological order from last reply.

Advanced Search:Single Search Content type
I get results in Chronological order from last reply. Which is correct.


Why does the Multiple content types have no display order? Why is Multiple Content types the Default tab and why is the Default tab second in order?
