Dedicated Server Needed?

My forum is now 2 years old. I'm currently on a HostGator shared host and so far all is well. I have about 2 of the same people complaining all the time of the site speed. But, for me, and obviously the rest of the site it seems to be fast enough.


My current stats:

Threads: 20,026, Posts: 265,782, Members: 5,115

I have a month transfer of about 40 GIG's.

Is a dedicated server a good choice at my level right now? I'm just looking for options. I think my current shared is doing it's job. How far off am I from needing a dedicated? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
