Forum upgraded to 4.0.4 from 3.8.5 and tried to run upgrade_404_indexes.php

I never run thr script before, it said it suppose to take several houre (I have 4.5M posts) and the upgrade_400a1_indexes.php took 30 secs'
while I'm getting output for upgrade_404_indexes.php in less then 1 sec'

the forum is very slow, what should I do? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
