How to view original post after it was edited?

I thought there was some feature which allowed mods/admins to view previous versions of a post after it has been edited?

I edited a post by a user (cut out a bunch of material not related to thread topic), he complained publicly, so I'd like to post his non-related material for everyone else to see in order to justify my action. But I can't seem to find out how to bring up the original post.
