several pre-sales questions

i am conducting a feasibility study to see if vbulletin will work in our environment and need help to answer a few questions:
- Is it possible to run it in the protected mode when ONLY registered users can access its contents and block any other access to the forum?

- I am planning to deploy it on the internally hosted win2003 server. Anything i need to know before hands re the server or its config?
- I am planning to use the already available MySQL server for the DB. What do i need from the DBA? a blank database? Is there a script to create the actual tables once the DB is created? If not, how does this process work?
-Will teh admin or moderator have permissions to see all posts somewhere beside the forum itself? is it a part of any stats or logs or any other reports? ( we want to be able to analyze all posts after a period of time)
- are there any tools or GUI that is a part of the VBulletin that would give an access to the data stored in the database or it is used exclusively as a back-end and is not expected to be queried or looked at manually? (this stems from our research-driven interest in the future posts)
- what is the preferred size of the logo that can be used if the de-branding option is purchased?
