Forum Strange image problem

Not so much a problem as a "how come". I have thumbnails enabled because of the way things interact in the various modules. EVERYONES posts show with thumbnails that you click to get the full size image. EXCEPT this one user! Every time he posts they display full size and display even bigger than the 600 X 600 limit I have set. How come?

I would like to use "no thumbnails", but I think I had to change that a while back because of problems it caused with the CMS.
