Single page Registration form

I would like to create a simple single page Registration form, hoping that this will boost the signpost rate for my forum. To be specific, the page is: http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/register.php


Anyone know how I can do this? A tutorial or something? Has it boosted your sign-up rate after implementation?
