Forum Combating Spam? (non-bots)

My forums have been getting a steady dose of spam registrations, and it seems like they're of the non-bot (human) type. I'm probably getting 10-20 new spam registrations every single day. I've already installed the "StopForumSpam" plugin, but it hasn't exactly curbed the spammers.

For example, I've been getting hit by this spammer who registers under slightly different IPs everytime:

My question is, how do i effectively combat human spammers? It's getting to the point where it's taking me more time than i'd like just to deal with these accounts.

Is there a way to easily ban/delete a whole bunch of spammer accounts with several clicks (in bulk) in the admin section? Also, if I delete an account, does that automatically ban the IP ? I'm not certain if i should individually ban them or just delete them....

Any advise would appreciated.
