Forum Message Editor interface choice?

Is there a setting (or something i've not set up properly) that will allow users to set up which editor loads when they click reply?!


Right now a 50/50 split of my users want the quick reply box to come up when they hit reply, which is does and the other 50% want the advanced editor to come up.

I can't see any user option for this under user settings?

Only thing I can find is: the "Message editor interface" option in user settings which doesn't seem to make any difference?
