Why can't I renew my license like before? *READ ME FIRST*

All right, I've had to go create this thread to explain the question in the thread title.

The reason for the license renewal fees being removed is because the licensing structure was changed well before vB4 Gold release. The new licensing terms mean that you will get no more renewal charges, so by getting a vB4 license, you will be able to ignore it until vB5 is released. If you are using a leased license, you will have no choice but to upgrade your license. If you can't, you will be unable to run vB until you buy a license upgrade.


Most of the vBulletin Team here recommend going for the suite because it gives you forever support on the ticket system, whereas the forum only gives you only 1 month of ticket support.

Now you're wondering why I created this? I'm trying to assist the vB staff and reduce their workload so these irritating and repetitive threads don't pop up. Call it, consolidation of information, if you like. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
