Forum Facebook Connect in 4.0.3...what access does it grant?

I understand why Facebook Connect has been developed, the benefits of viral marketing etc. I have a question about what access it grants.

We don't allow users to just register; we screen them first until we have a positive ID, then we allocate them to the areas they are entitled to access on our forum. If we identify people as spammers we add them to our banned users so that we have a record of their IP addresses. Once we've got several attacks from the same IP address we block it via the firewall. So before we enable Facebook Connect we want to know what access we are granting to Facebook users.


If we enable Facebook Connect, anyone know if this will enable un-registered users or banned users read or write access to any parts of our site? By enabling Facebook Connect are we granting them any permissions? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
