New Registration Passwords Not Working

Recently, I've restored my vBulletin 3.8.4 forum to the date of January 21st 2010, which has brought up a rather perculiar problem.

Users who registered on the forums before January 21st have no problem logging in and posting on the site, but users who registered after this date obviously had to re register. The problem is, when these people re register (or register at all) their password doesn't work, even after a password reset. I've manually gone in and changed users passwords on the backend and that doesn't work either.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help is appriciated!
