Forum Is VB4 meant to work with IE7?

I'm in the process of upgrading my test forum to VB4. I like to test it out as I go along in different browsers, and on an old pc have IE7.

It just looked a total mess, so I came onto vbulletin to see what that looked like using IE7. There are so many issues.

The icons are missing from the index page

There is no post reply button when replying to a post.

Some of the smilies in the selection box are huge.

I could go on, but I just wondered if this is how things are meant to be and those with IE7 won't be able to use VB4?

My forum isn't full of techy people, and some are still using IE7, I just hope they aren't going to be faced with leaving the forum or upgrading their browser.
