Hi guys -
I'm having an issue with custom avatars uploaded by users being converted to gif's. What's going on is that if a user uploads a jpeg avatar, vbulletin is saving the file with the '.gif' extension, but is not actually converting the file to a JPEG formatted image. I have imagemagick selected as the graphics library, and I think I have the correct path. If I change the path from the one that's currently used, I get an error, but I get no error with my current setting. I'm waiting for my host to confirm the correct path, but until then I think my issue is elsewhere. Another symptom that I've noticed is that a few random avatars have been deleted in the file system, and are showing as broken links. Any help on this would be really appreciated.
