Forum Change Image Dimensions for Thumbnail, Medium, Large, Full Size

When you add an image to a thread (only works when editing existing post) you have the option to change the size of the image, is there a way to adjust the dimensions as the default ones breaks the layout of my forum as they are too large.

I am talking about the sized in the attached image:

Also is there a way to make the default uploader available for replies too, it seems it is only available when you edit an existing post or post a new thread, otherwise you just get an option to submit a link.
